The construction measure comprised the complete structural and technical gutting of the existing building with in-depth remediation of contaminants and removal of the contaminated façade. The two-storey extension was demolished and rebuilt. In addition, two new staggered storeys were added to the building.
Thanks to the design by TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten, the building continues to fit into the overall ensemble of Ernst-Reuter-Platz in terms of urban development.
BCL was responsible for the construction logistics planning (work phases 1 to 4 according to AHO booklet 25).
