In glorious spring weather, we had the pleasure of welcoming Anita Eckardt, head of Implenia’s division Service Solutions, along with two colleagues from the Danish construction logistics start-up SiteHub, to the ZEISS high-tech complex construction site in Jena.
Construction logistics of the future
Together, we evaluated how productivity on construction projects can be further optimised in the future. Key topics included the use of AI on construction sites, waste management, and (sustainability) reporting – a valuable exchange for everyone involved. To continue this dialogue, a visit to BCL in Denmark at SiteHub is planned later this year.
On the challenging ZEISS construction project, we are delivering a comprehensive range of construction logistics services. In the future, the Jena site will bring together the development units as well as a large part of ZEISS’s local production and administrative departments. Our colleagues on site ensure safety, order, and perfectly coordinated processes – helping to meet the ambitious timelines, as well as the cost and quality targets set by our client.
