Merck, a global science and technology company, has successfully completed the expansion of its life science distribution center in Schnelldorf.
The project
The construction project included the conversion and expansion of the existing center with new storage areas, social areas and the construction of a modern filling center at the site in Bavaria. In total, the area was increased by 25,000m2 - almost doubling the previous capacity.
The site, with a total area of around 112,486 m², is located in the municipality of Schnelldorf in the district of Ansbach.
BCL was responsible for the planning and execution of the construction logistics.
