Around 1,200 apartments in 64 buildings are being built on an area of over 150,000 square meters - supplemented by underground parking, a daycare centre, cafés, retail and office space. The district is pursuing a sustainable concept with DGNB Gold certification, generous green spaces, barrier-free apartments and a modern open space design - for a lively coexistence of all generations.
The development will be realized in three construction phases, spread over a total of 17 building plots. Up to six residential buildings are planned on each plot.
The development area borders directly on a wooded area and the banks of the River Dahme. Wendenschloßstraße serves as the central access axis. Due to the surrounding residential buildings, special measures are required to control construction site traffic. The aim is to minimize the impact on residents and the public transport network during the construction period. Precise coordination of delivery traffic is therefore essential.
BCL is responsible for planning and implementing the construction logistics.
